The baffle can be made entirely of metal, or it can be inlaid with sealing material on the metal, depending on the performance requirement.
When it is fully open, the fluid pressure is almost unimpeded, so the pressure to drop through the valve is relatively small.
It is suitable for large caliber occasions with low flow velocity and low flow, but it is not suitable for pulsating flow. Its sealing performance is less than the lift check valve.
